After feeding on her kill, Petaka was satisfied and resting on her resting spot near the carcass. The sun already set behind the mountains, and it was getting dark. Suddenly, a caracara flew in. Its appearance drew Petaka’s attention. She stood up and walked back to guard her kill, not giving the falcon any opportunities. She looked around and waited until the caracara was no longer a threat before she marched back to her bed.
