Small Adelie penguin is held in captivity, along with other penguin species in the largest aquarium tank in the world, Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, in Hengqin, China. Adelie Penguins (Pygoscelis adeliae) are members of the brush-tailed group of penguins, so-called for their long tail feathers. His geographic breeding range is between Antarctica, South Orkney Islands, South Sandwich Islands and Bouvet Island. In terms od their current conservation status, the population is increasing. Adelies were named by early Antarctic explorer Jules Dumont d’Urville after his loving wife, Adéle.
