These pictures were taken of young women preparing for a ballet performance, taken at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. First picture shows a girl running from one area to another within the cathedral to join her colleagues, and captured her pearl necklace in stop motion Second picture shows a young lady earnestly at practice before the performance. She is obviously intensely focused presumably to get it "just right".
Served as Assistant Director in charge of Exhibits at Smithsonian's Natioal Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C., also instrumental in building IMAX theater at museum, serve as Executive Producer of Galapagos, a 3d IMAX film for the museum, serevrd on various board and/or advisor to useums. Took up photography after retiring in 2007, still very much as amateur.
