Blue Dream

Facing prejudices and discrimination for being authentic or different is a sadly common experience many deal with in a way or another. Contemplating nature is a getaway for when feeling unaccepted, as nature makes us feel part of something bigger than our human point of view. On the other hand nature is a complicated system humans have often misunderstood and exploited with little respect. Our attitude toward nature says a lot of our attitude toward ourself and others. My work’s aim is to help rise awareness on these problems, and confort some of the suffering unacceptance generates.

Longing to represent complexity, Eleonora Barbarossa’s practice inquires into the perception of reality, both external and internal, from individual and collective perspectives. Her photographic work consist of abstract scenes obtained through camera movement. Images challenge traditional perceptions, inviting the observer to fill the space left open with a personal interpretation. Born in 1991 in Trieste, Italy, her work connects deeply with the legacy of her hometown in the fields of mental health and human cognition.
