Murder, My Sweet

  • Photographer
    Elisa Miller

Inspired by 1940s film noir, "Murder, My Sweet" explores jealousy and insecurity. The series deals with the fear of losing something precious and features Diana as her own worst enemy, pitted against a more seductive, attractive, and confident version of herself. Jealousy is linked to a lack of self-esteem and can lead to self-sabotage. It questions identity and the limitations and pressure that society, domestic situations, or ourselves can impose. The staged photographs explore our self-limiting beliefs and the gap between our true selves and what we're expected to be.
