Nowadays, people are increasingly struggling to understand their own personalities. This uncertainty also extends to identity leading to social anxiety, intrusive thoughts or even mental illness. This project is a story about perception from the perspective of a person struggling with such problems. The photographs are not post-produced; each is documentary in nature. The narrative in the project takes on a subtle character that, through its abstract form, suggests a certain distance of contact with other people while being close.
A student of photography at the Faculty of Media Arts at the Academy of Art in Szczecin. His artistic practice focuses on combining documentary forms with elements of abstraction, and explores themes of overwhelming the individual and the contrast between intellectual and emotional cognition. He is inspired by subtle observation and scientific achievements. He also creates drawings, objects and is the co-author of several musical projects.
