All images are closing up of sculptures in the Museum of the Duomo of Milan. I have been strongly fascinated from old art objects before 19 century. The artists of those at that time needed unbelievably long time to create them. They had nothing but their hands and absolute technique. Nowadays we live in a high-tech world and are definitely spoiled from technical developments. I take images of old art objects closing up to transform old traditional techniques into our high-tech life, and I have chosen to use a digital camera to express the contrast between old technique and new technique.

I was born and grew up in Tokyo. After I studied Markeing in Tokyo, I deceided to go to Sydney to learn other culture. I brought my father´s Minolta camera and strated to take photos in Sydney. Soon after I was facinated from the difference between what the human eye sees and what the camera´s mechanical eye captures. This sensational feeling got me back to school again. I learned Fine Arts Photography at TAFE NSW College in Sydney and at Tokyo Visual Arts College in Tokyo. Since 2008 I have lived and worked in Berlin. I have several exhibitions experiences in Sydney, Tokyo and Berlin.
