A tigress was in stalking mode, nearby was a sambar fawn, the tigress charged and the fawn ran into the lake and then the inevitable happened.
Since childhood, the wild has always intrigued me, the many trips to the forest of Nagarhole that my father would take me to were one of the main reasons that drew me towards nature. Also the tales from the Jungle book and the characters created by Rudyard Kipling transformed my imagination, then there were the tales of the forests in the surroundings of bangalore written by Kenneth Anderson that influenced me along with the stories of the famous Jim Corbett, the hunter turned conservationist that cemented my love for nature and wildlife photography.
