This project is a tribute to Blue, a bird that fell out of its nest and fought bravely for its life. After weeks of taking care of Blue, I became attached to it, but one day the bird decided it was time to leave. Watching its first flight was a bittersweet moment; I still wonder if Blue survived, if I could have done more. Birds of its kind returns every year to the place where they were born. I like to imagine that Blue has already returned and our paths have crossed again. Those are monotypes on photographs, and much like them, Blue left a unique and unrepeatable mark on my heart.
