Born as an inner quest, the project "Adhérences et signes indélébiles" consists of the union of photographs of my scars from surgery and suggestive places with luminous memories. The photographs merge to create a new reality where pain fades away leaving space for a new ethereal and evocative image. It has become a polyphonic project that extends and involves other people with a similar path to mine. At this moment: 9 people involved, 12 photographs, started in 2020 the project continues thanks to word of mouth. Technique: photographic montage.
I am Sandra Paul, a self-taught photographer, constantly enriching my photographic knowledge I have attended advanced courses and workshops, at the Accademia Fotografica in Rome, with Augusto Pieroni, Eolo Perfido and Stefano Mirabella for examples. If my favourite place to shoot is the street, where I instinctively capture moments that combine compositional cleanliness with narrative, on the other hand, I'm working on a personalphotographic project "Adhérences et signes indélébiles" which takes place in intimacy, creating a dialogue between images of scars and landscapes.
