A general view of the Belchatow Powered Coal Station and the open-pit coal mine, as a rare favorable weather allows to fully photograph the scale of the mine and station. The Belchatow coal-powered station, located in Poland, with an output of 5,472 megawatts, is the world's largest lignite coal-fired power station. The station emits approximately 30 million tonnes of CO2 per year.
