Every year on March 19th of the lunar calendar, it is a grand event of "Beijgang Chaotian Palace to welcome Mazu." Many believers from all over the country come to worship Mazu and participate in Mazu's blessing. To pray for peace or Thank Mazu for Mazu's protection, the stores on both sides will prepare a large number of firecrackers to cast at the bottom of the sedans praying for "the more it explodes, the more fortune will get". Sedan bearers are volunteers. They can't show fear and have the courage to bear it at that time. The event shows the power of religion, and energy.
