This is a candid portrait of my oldest daughter Malina at home. The way she was sitting and the setting looked very picturesque to me, so I grabbed my camera and took this picture to capture the beauty of the moment.
I have been a photographer since 2004. I started off with traditional film cameras. In 2007, I bought my first DSLR that allowed me to experiment a lot more by being able to see the results right away. After a decade of experimentation and improvement, I invested in a high-end professional camera and lenses in 2018 and started my own small business as a semi-professional photographer the following year. The professional gear has enabled me to take my photography experimentation to the next level and helped me produce clearer and more beautiful results, especially with astrophotography.
