Urban Geometry

  • Photographer
    Natalia Slovinska

I took this series called "Urban Geometry" in Rotterdam. I was fascinated by the clean architectural style. More than 80 years ago, the city was almost completely destroyed, however this gave space for something new and modern. For some people Rotterdam might be hectic and stressful, but if you look closer you will find something exciting at every corner.

Amateur photographer from Slovakia, based in the Netherlands. Photography is my passion and personal journey – one that I pursue with a deep focus on architecture. My attention goes to the classic architectonic styles where I find symmetry and lines, and to modern architecture in which I like to notice minimalistic details and unique framing. I approach my work intuitively rather than technically, allowing curiosity and experimentation to guide me. This openness leads me to explore all possibilities. Black and white photography resonates with me as it teaches me that less can be more.
