Monumental Scale

"Monumental scale" in architecture is not only very tall buildings, their measurements are monumental because they exceed the human dimension in various proportions. Whichever way you look at it, monumental scales have the effect of raising the eye to heights. The human body seems small in comparison to its walls, pillars and ornaments. I believe that the "Monumental Scale" is majestically expressed in the sum of the "Neoclassical" style in architecture and black and white photography.
