Environmental pollution is one of the most pressing issues today, threatening biodiversity, climate change, and many other consequences. "Reflection" is a series of portraits about plastic waste, about how it's invading people's lives. Intending to conceive topical images with artistic creativity, "Reflection" uses plastic items as accessories. Portraits are staged in closed spaces, suffocating and despairing under layers made of seemingly harmless materials. Monochrome is applied to give focus and haunt. Visual cues give rise to an unrelenting obsession with waste encroachment.
