Guard of Dawn

I woke up early to take pictures of sunrise especially so I had my camera on a tripod at first and was taking landscape photos. My dogs were sniffing and exploring around me. After a while I noticed my senior dog positioning herself in this alert pose watching the village in front of us in the rising sun. I took my camera off the tripod and lay on the ground to capture her. I could take several pictures she was so focused she did not move for almost 15 mins. Her whole body told me that she was ready to protect us from anything that comes our way.
