This series consists of 12 sequential photographs that depict the inner journey of a female character, from her childhood to her mature years. The fictional character is placed somewhere between memory and imagination and explores how words can be a mighty resource to reach deep within herself, both through writing and through encountered texts. This work visits themes of female vulnerability, social expectations, familial interrelationships, suffering, and eventually, healing. It delves into how we navigate traumatic life experiences, revealing something ambiguous, dark, and auspicious.
