This patterns and colors have been formed over time due to the natural processes of erosion, wear and tear, and aging. This wall belongs to a sluice, which is a device used for raising and lowering boats between different water levels. The colorful patterns on the wall serve as a decorative feature and showcase the beauty that can arise from the natural processes of deterioration. The juxtaposition of the industrial concrete and the vivid colors and shapes created by the erosion and aging process creates a playful and interesting visual contrast.
I am an artist who explores landscapes through abstract photographs, documents various industrial environments and photograph babies and toddlers under water - living in Larkollen Norway. I have completed courses at Bilder Nordic School of Photography, Workshops with Cheryl Newman-Sian Davey and Workshops with Morten Krogvold.
