Early in the morning, before sunrise, we also went to the summit of the legendary Sciliar peak, Monte Pez. After the first dawn, the golden morning light set in and an indescribable panorama of the classic Dolomites could be seen, from the Sassolungo and Sassopiatto to the Sella, Antelao, Pelmo, Marmolada and the Rosengarten summit. That alone was worth getting up early for.
I am 54 years old and live in Seligenstadt, Hesse. For many years, I worked as a landscape gardener, where I was able to work creatively with nature. Due to tragic events, I can no longer pursue my profession, which gave me time to devote more intensively to photography. Initially, it was primarily while traveling and in nature that I discovered abstract and contemporary photography. With a camera, you can create beautiful, individual works of art; you just have to get involved. This doesn't happen at the push of a button, however; it happens intuitively, based on the situation.
