"Fragile World" takes the viewer on a journey through a paper world that appears ideal and beautiful,but in reality is a world of illusion. In this world,we have illusions that it is comfortable to live,raise children and dream of their bright futures. It has already been known for centuries that lighting even one match can signify the end of this world. The reflection is that these illusions can be destroyed at any time. I created the series based on my observations of how events in the world have been developing over the past few years,when my perception of stability of the world was shaken.
Russian born Olga Steinepreis lives in Freigericht, Germany since 2013. She studied Computer Aided Design at the Southern Federal University. She has always been fascinated by photography. The camera itself has been her constant companion throughout the years of teenagehood up to the present. Olga’s body of work is defined by the art photography genre. Olga consistently explores the intersection of art and photography, seeking to uncover and emphasize the symbiotic relationship between these two creative ways of expression.
