On The Rocks

These pictures are from the On the Rocks portfolio, a surrealist collage series with models shot on the rocks near Nanaimo juxtaposed into new environments

My work lies near an intersection between Piero della Francesca and Salvador Dali, between Sandro Botticelli and Paul Delvaux with a clear nod to Rubens and William Mortensen. Current work includes street photography in Europe, the image as metaphor and the nude, both in the studio and the landscape. I work out of a beautiful large studio in Victoria's historic Chinatown and shoot with a Nikon D850, the trinity of lenses and work in Adobe's Photoshop with a mess of plug-ins.
