I pick myself up from the pieces and become whole. I watch and listen. I get my life experience. I look at myself and try to understand what has changed?
In my art, I use knowledge of the collective unconscious and the mythology of different cultures to create my characters. I incorporate fairytale characters from different countries. I am inspired and intrigued by the magical realm of fairy tales and the world of our ancestors, where spirits were an integral part of the culture. I am fascinated that we are heirs to this culture and we are all part of this world. I use my photographs to create my works: I make collages, print them, somewhere I paint with colours, somewhere I embroider, somewhere I add patterns.
