Fire escapes and stairs pictured in black and white, remind me of the work of famous graphic Dutch artist M.C. Escher. Known for his impossible stairs. Just like in these pictures, the stairs seem endless. No matter how you flip these images, you will keep seeing stairs and endless steps, going up or down. Just like Escher's stairs.
