Fleeing The War, Saving The Innocent
Floods of Ukrainians with their children have fled Ukraine since the Russian invasion unfolded in February 2022. One of their destinations is Poland.
They were overwhelmed by uncertainty, fear, cold weather, and having no accommodation. The innocence of the fleeing children, nevertheless, was seen everywhere.
Some holding their teddy bears or dolls, waiting at the Ukrainian embassy, or sticking intimately with parents, with their eyes sending a common message: there’s hope.
Transferring them to safety and protecting their innocence means securing the future of humanity.
