An elderly woman holding a crutch, together with her dogs, walks past a damaged residential building by Russian air strike during Moscow's invasion, in Borodyanka, Kyiv, Ukraine, on 7 April, 2022.
The town being seized by Russian troops for more than a month was liberated in early April, following Ukrainian counterattacks.
But many residents are said to have been buried in the rubble of collapsed buildings as the result of tense Russian bombardment and air strikes.
This elderly woman is one of the few people who survived tense Russian attacks during March 2022.
