First I saw the little daughter combing her father's hair. I was about to cross the street to look for a more frontal angle, when I noticed their reflection in the mirror. I looked for the position to frame them in the larger mirror. It was then that the mother and son approached. I was waiting and hoping they would position themselves so that they would be reflected by the smaller mirror. The wait was worth it and the slight variations in the blue tones present brought an interesting atmosphere to the photo.
