In south Italy there's one of the few charcoal pits still existing in Italy, where men, following yet a tradition that has been handed down for centuries, transform wood into high quality coal. They work from 4.00a.m. to "dismantle" a charcoal pit whose carbonization process had finished the day before. The charcoal burner burns for 4 days and in these days it's monitored day and night. Rain or sun, heat or cold, wind or heat, they don't stop, everything must be followed for their safety and the surrounding forest and the guarantee that the transformation process is successfully.

I'm a person who "takes pictures" like millions of people in the world with passion and love. I started for fun by participating in a contest of a photography magazine on 2012. My photo was published in the magazine two months later and this gave me the impetus to seriously venture into this hobby. I've grown and improved but I'm always a student! My photographic genre is oriented towards architectural photography, especially modern and minimal. But I'm polierdic!
