This is the Noto Peninsula festival where I am based. "Abare Festival" is the largest festival in this area, and it is very brave and powerful. They throw the mikoshi into the river, smash it, and rampage.
My name is Eiichi Yoshioka. I was born on September 28, 1986. In addition to photographing festivals in Kanazawa and the Noto Peninsula, I also enjoy street photography throughout Japan and overseas. My photography career was initially inspired by the incredible natural beauty of the Noto Peninsula. I have continued to be involved with the community ever since, seeking ways to contribute as a photographer.
