Created using the technique whereby the camera is set to long exposure and while the shutter is open the subject is lit using a flashlight. The image is then processed in Photoshop. No effects, plugins or presets have been used.
I was born in London, England, and was drawn to photography at an early age. By my late teens I had migrated from photography into filmmaking and studied at The London Film School. It was many years later, long after the advent of digital photography, that my passion for the still image was rekindled and I returned to my first love - photography. My work is heavily influenced by the early surrealist painters, while the subject matter is often focused on existential sentiments.
