On a foggy morning I decided to set out to go photograph a group of trees growing on a small island a few dozen yards from the shore of a lake near where I live. It was a spot I had marked for myself during a walk along the edge of the lake on a sunny afternoon. With clear air and bright sunshine, it was nothing special (from a photographic point of view), but I knew that with the fog a good photo might come out. Fortunately, I was not wrong.
