Quang Phu Cau is a village near Hanoi famous for the production of incense. Many families in this area are involved in this trade. The colour of the incense sticks come from dyes. After dyeing, bunches of incense are opened up like flowers, and left to dry in the sun. This is a fine art interpretation of “flowers within a sea of flowers”.
