The Steller’s Sea Eagle is a large bird of prey, and is one of the heaviest eagles in the world. It resides in the far northeastern regions of Russia. During the winter months, they can be found as far south as Hokkaido, Japan. They feed on fish and smaller birds. After successful hunts, they rest on floating ice blocks to feast on their catches.
