Imperfect Food Is ..Artsy / Primary Colors

Four years ago I created this series for NatGeo's contests: 'Imperfect food is beautiful' and 'Primary colors'. Than, my images won! Every day people trow away a lot of food: imperfect, expired..Unfortunately mostly, it ends in the trash depot. I decided to present a different but also artsy vision of this theme and to show that the ugly food could be artsy. I asked in a store if they could give some expired food. Than my mind creates an idea: I focused on the complimentary colors, I bought colorful paper to use as a background, some decorations, and I painted paper utensils and old pasta.
