I had the tremendous opportunity to photograph Australian supermodel Joy Bell. Fashion and beauty brands have recently began to embrace inclusion by including older, silver haired models in current advertising campaigns. Joy has had a long successful career and continues to work on commercial and editorial work worldwide. When photographing Joy I wanted to capture a quiet moment that simply showed her refinement and beauty. With minimal accessories and an 85mm f1.2 lens, we found that moment. She gazed into the lens with the poise and confidence of a beautiful woman with a lovely soul.
