Originally designated as Temple of All the Gods - it is not anymore. Despite this, the Pantheon has been receiving a steady stream of admirers from all over the world ever since its construction almost 2,000 years ago. Its dome, Corinthian columns, and portico have heavily influenced Western architecture for many centuries. It is the best preserved monument in Rome.
