I love capturing the beauty of the contrasting colours on Bermuda homes. Typical of Bermuda vernacular is the use of bright colours in walls and the use of a heavy colour contrast for the shutters that protect the windows.
I started my photography journey over 40 years by learning to shoot, develop and print analogue images. Much of my work today is still on film and I still get excited when I pull developed negatives out of the developing tank. I also short digital and I am known in the Bahamas for my Sports Photography although I am known for other genres as well. About 6 years ago I began to teach photography to pass on the knowledge I have gained over all the years I have been shooting. In preparing class notes I realised there are many aspects of photography I had taken as "natural", that is experience.
