The waves are viewed from different perspectives to express a dreamy world in an abstract way. The subject is an imaginary future dream. Dreams are imaginations. A future without dreams has no hope. The dream world of Eastern thought is expressed as a metaphorical symbol using waves. In 1447, the picture was taken with inspiration from the painting “Mongyudowondo” by the Korean painter An Gyeon, who painted the dream of the Joseon prince Anpyeong. “Mongyudowon” means an imaginary world such as heaven and paradise.
