'Covid Vax & Ice Cream' After receiving her first Pfizer Covid-19 vaccination in her remote Yarrabah home from doctors and medical teams walking 'door to door' through the indigenous township in far north Australia, 67 year old aboriginal Leanne Bulmer sits with her 'reward' - a free ice cream. The 'door to door' program by the local medical centre aimed to rectify the worst take up rates of Covid vaccination in Australia. They organised for an ice cream van to follow the medical teams, lightening the mood in the Community.
