During my time at NGO Sambhali trust,I've learned a lot and gained a deeper understanding of injustice in this world.Women at the centers mostly come from low castes and have difficult backgrounds,the empowerment centers provide a safe place where women can reclaim their dignity,build their self-esteem,and become financially independent. Most of the graduates from the Sambhali educational program will be employed by the Boutique,making clothes or teaching in the center, is a door opening up for these women and children to fulfill their dream to be able to change their life in the future.
Born and raised in Malaysia,currently based in Switzerland. Her travels have inspired her to capture life with photography.This very passion drove her to use the camera to express and deliver narratives previously unseen and untold. For her, photography became more than a way of creating memories.Callie’s works mostly refer to life “in the moment”. She captures people to reveal honesty and express the authenticity of their individuality, heritage, and life.
