It was a cold morning of below zero degrees that I decided to brave The 3 Sisters of Glen Coe, the Gaelic name is Bidean Nam Bian. I arrived at about 5am to greet the sun. The Massacre of Glencoe Macdonald's took place here on 13th February 1892. Some say the ghosts of the past still haunt the Valley today, and that the dramatic weather patterns are an expression of their anger. Perhaps to forget the treacheries of the past, Glen Coe is a place of unparalleled beauty and healing for those who find themselves drawn to the Glen.
