The photo was taken during a reportage made along the Balkan route in Bosnia. The situation of migrants is very serious, without any help, without dignity, forced to cook food with the little aid that comes only from voluntary associations. Many of them are doctors, lawyers, teachers forced to flee to Europe which rejects them. Migrants are forced to live in precarious health conditions with no future. Europe has closed its doors without respect for human dignity.

Ha realizzato i sui reportage in Bosnia, Turchia, Kurdistan Turco, India, confine Pakistano, Vietnam, Kazakistan, confine con la Cina, Kirghizistan, Uzbekistan. Ha ottenuto numerosi riconoscimenti nazionali ed internazionali. Insegna fotografia di reportage e street photography. Attualmente sta realizzando un reportage lungo la rotta balcanica, Bielorussia e Polonia a seguito dei migranti afgani, siriani, iracheni.
