Paraphilia from the Greek para = beyond and filia = love. The masks indicate the explosions of interiority that one wants to deny, characterized by intense and recurring fantasies or impulses. They represent the lack of communication with oneself and consequently with others, creating a strong sense of discomfort. So a clear division is created between what appears and what really is, a fragmentation of the individual. On the other hand, it creates a sense of community. In fact, every person, regardless of age, gender and trend, is represented with the same pig mask, all with the same vision.

Born in 1980, the attention to detail, technical precision and compositional rigor allow him to transform this passion into a profession in 2008, the year in which he began working in the field of event and commercial photography. Describing Diego Dominici's works means immersing oneself in the human psyche, digging into the most hidden abysses of the human unconscious. Aesthetics, the point of departure and arrival of Diego's artistic research, become the main means through which to dissect the obsessions, deviations and affective-cognitive incapacities of human everyday life.
