Images of Ireland’s largest minority group. Irish Travellers originally lived the nomadic life of migrant workers. A tradition that no longer exists. There is now little space for them to continue their traditions. Many still keep and trade horses showing and selling at Horse Fairs. Their traditions are different from the majority of the Irish population and are often unaccepted by the larger community. They have their own rules and gender roles. Some still live by the road with no electricity, the alternative is government haulting sites inside high walls hidden from the rest of society
