Portraits from jazz music concerts

Born in Imola in 1955, Gabriele Calamelli began taking pictures in young age under the guidance of his father. In the early 1970s he embarks on a period of experimentation with the development and darkroom printing of black and white films and photographs. His first experiences are amateur with participation in national and international photo contests. Follows a period in which he photographically documents the sporting and cultural activities of his city by collaborating with some local periodicals. Today he dedicates himself to architectural photography, jazz and photographic projects.
