Loch Kishorn. Jan 2021. The static dynamism of a vessel. Sailing nowhere. Time is frozen, as the millennial hills behind. Lifeless is the sea, still like oil. Rust corrodes the solid bodywork of a manmade technology. Will I become another obsolete vessel. I now dream of sailing farther and nowhere. Powered, in silence, by stillness. Towards the rise of a New Consciousness. The Old Lady was photographed in January 2021 in Kishorn, during the C-19 lockdown. The Petrojarl Banff FPSO started its end-of-life journey few months later, to be recycled at M.A.R.S. after only 21 years of service.
