The Rhodope Mountains are the most beautiful and mystical place in Bulgaria. There are many small villages scattered on the peaks and ridges. In each village the people are different - Muslims, Bulgarians, Pumacs, Greeks. Their faith is different, but they are similar in that they are good and hardworking people. They raise animals, cultivate their land and are far from modern life. True goodness is preserved there, when they see a stranger, they first want to shelter and feed him. There are still a small number of real people in these villages.
