I created the montage of seascape by combining age-worn items which I photographed in the 120-year-old Concubine Lane in my country. The image is an abstract of a seascape, but the boat is a digitally modified, tatty brick, made about a hundred years ago. The sea is made of an old piece of wall in the Concubine Lane, and the paints on the wall are horribly peeling. The frame of the image is the texture I found upon a door, and I created such wonderful fusion to produce a seascape in an artistic way. I want the viewers to see the eloquent beauty of art when age-worn things coalesce creatively.
