PowPow is one of Native American traditions. It involves ceremony, singing and dancing competitions. Three years ago, I started a project that is trying to document Native American traditions around Southern California. This series of photos is the result of this project. In this photo essay, I want to people who lives outside of US to understand the rich traditions of North America.
