Until recently I knew very little about ‘Albinism.’ I live in the US and have had limited exposure to people with this genetic condition. This changed when I was introduced to Bibiana who was attacked when she was a young girl in Tanzania and lost her leg and two fingers. She is now safe in the US and is thriving in a safe environment, with a new prosthetic and finishing her HS education. The message that resonates in this image is Bibiana’s determination to make a difference.
